In the old town of Manduria a massive 1700’s building, that belonged to the Imperiali family and arose on the ruins of a Norman castle, dominates the main square. This is the Imperiali Palace, where a restaurant was set up in 1979. It is not accidental choosing the name Al Castello which is the way in which commonly in Manduria is still referred the Imperiali Palace. Al Castello restaurant in Manduria, with over 40 years of activity, is the best place to appreciate traditional local food and dishes from Salento area combined with two great local wines: Primitivo di Manduria and Negroamaro.
