BACI DELLA RIVIERA is a historic staple of Alassio’s seaside, having been founded more than 50 years ago by the talented Raffaella Iaffaldano. What began as a modest family shop has blossomed into a celebrated culinary institution that blends traditional Ligurian baking techniques with inventive flavors. The bakery is renowned for its handcrafted sweets, such as the classic “Bacio della Riviera” (10 €), pistachio, white, and vegan variations (11 € each), the larger 20 € “Bacione”, the elegant 11 € “Bacio di Dama”, the sumptuous 35 € “Torta Bacio”, as well as freshly baked “Pane della Riviera” for 10 €. In 2025 the shop will move to a new location only a few steps from its old premises, adding a de hor bar for light bites and a partnership with local pasta producer “a Tavola” to offer fresh weekly pasta varieties.
