The Castle of Strambinello is plunged into a green island that faces on an uncontaminated valley, beautiful in every period of the year: in the bottom flows, like a silver ribbon, the river Chiusella. This is the ideal destination for the people who look for a relaxing pause, in contact with the luxuriant nature of Canavese. You will be certainly surprised because such a peace springs almost magically, suddenly, a few hundreds of metres from the main streets. The Castle offers to the watchful visitor not only the charm of the landscape, but the fascination of the history and art: here every corner, every wall and every stone tells a story big and little, about prosperity and magnificence, about ruin and reconstruction, that goes from Middle Ages to Baroque, arriving until our days. The Castle of Strambinello is also the history of the realization of a beautiful dream, started thirty years ago, when the current owner, master of art and restorer, bought it fallen in ruins with the intention of carry it back in the old charm. Then he works with tenacity and passion for the restoration of the building, he applies oneself in the systemization of the inner parts with old furniture, chosen with style and competence and he creates step by step a rich and various garden, in syntony with the building and the surrounding landscape. Now he, helped by his wife, vet, and by his two daughters, students, has decided to dedicate a part of the castle for the activity of Bed and Breakfast.
