Get to know usThe “Bosco Del Campanaro” (The “Bell-ringer’s wood”) B&B was born on January 2011, being Enzo and Sabrina’s crowning achievement of their dream of a small family-run facility capable of sharing their intimate, authentic and passionate devotion to the territory with the hosts.Enzo is a mountain guide, focused since 1992 on spreading his knowledge of the local mountain area organizing excursions, courses and writing articles and guides; Sabrina is an expert of local cuisine and natural remedies. The B&B is linked with the family restaurant “Locanda Mariella” were is possible taste the genuine cuisine of Abruzzi.The name takes origin from the wood close to Poggio Picenze’s village, land of adventures, outdoors activities and relaxing walks.How to reach usIn Poggio Picenze, on the SS17 (National road 17) linking Pescara and L’Aquila; we’re in Via Roma, 2B. The B&B is located in an old house built in 1950 and eventually restructured during the ‘90s, with direct access from the street and a comfortable parking in front of the building: pretty close to the public lines stop. Within 100mt by feet you will find sports facilities (tennis courts, bowls courts, skating rink, soccer courts), in addition to direct access to the uncontaminated “Bell-ringer’s wood”, a green area more than 200 hectares wide located in the north of the village, a trekking, mtb and nordik walking paradise, trough which you can reach the marvelous Gran Sasso – Monti della Laga National Park territory.Territory and sorroundingsThe village is in such a favourable position as to reach, in a few minutes, the town of L’Aquila, the Gran Sasso – Monti della Laga National Park with the Campo Imperatore ski resorts at an altitude of 2200 metres, the Navelli Plateau, the Subequana Valley with the Stiffe Caves
