The earthquake of April 6, 2009 wrecked the haunt that Davide and Daniele Stratta had been running for more than 10 years in the historical centre of town. But the young owners were not put off, and, with passion and dedication, opened a new restaurant and wine bar with annexed hotel rooms in a quiet and scenic location, strategically set at stone's throw from the A24 motorway exit "L'Aquila Ovest", the University complex of L'Aquila city, the regional Hospital, the Guardia di Finanza Accademy, the new student's dorm and the C.A.S.E. project areas Coppito 3 and Coppito 2. Passion for art, the paintings on the walls realised in oil colour on canvas that can be bought and commissioned, care for detail and furniture of the hall make the atmosphere warm and welcoming. The kitchen proposes typical dishes of our region Abruzzo: starters with salami and cheese; pasta dishes with homemade pasta, enriched with flavours and fragrances and colours of L'Aquila's saffron and truffle; arrosticini, grilled meat both from Italy and abroad of the highest quality. Desserts are all homemade by the expert hands of "Mom" Maria Grazia. The wine bar, extremely researched, proposes combinations also available by the glass, to be chosen within a rich and ponderated selection of local, national and international labels. The magnificent scenery with its privileged view on L'Aquila city, the convenient private car park and the discreteness of the premises make the new Punto G restaurant and rooms the ideal place for lunches, romantic dinners, parties and business meetings.
