About
The castle was mentioned for the first time in an imperial document of Frederick Barbarossa in 1164. The current building is the result of long years of restoration that ended in 2016. It can be reached via a short panoramic funicular and inside it houses the exhibition center "The ancient Ligurians in Val di Vara".
