Il Laghello di Amina

Il Laghello di Amina is a five-star, organic farm spread over 5 hectares. We are only 6km away from the sea. You can also get to Genoa, Pisa, Lucca and the Lunigiana in no time at all from here. Florence is just a two-hour car ride away. We grow our own vegetables and we take care of an old vineyard, olive groves and a small orchard. Everything is certified organic. Some of our bees can be found in a secluded corner, they give us such delicious honey and fresh pollen. In addition to our own fields, we also take care of an ever-expanding wooded area every year, attempting to keep it clean and preserve its integrity. In 2011 we came up with the idea of building a climate guesthouse with a very low environmental impact, completely from plastered wood, with low-temperature underfloor heating, natural wood windows and doors, the collection and recycling of rain water, walls with organic and hypoallergenic paint, solar panels and a big heat pump for central heating.
