In the heart of Mount Torrione, walking through the tunnel of the legendary "MARMIFERA" railway, you will land in an almost lunar place. You will explore on foot the immense rooms of the "Marble Cathedral," 24,000 cubic meters of space supported by titanic columns composed of the so-called WHITE GOLD: Carrara Marble. At about 16 degrees and in the absence of natural light, you will find yourself in the center of the Carrara marble basin, MICHELANGELO's favorite place for selecting the precious blocks with which he made his works. An unforgettable 40-minute guided tour where you will admire not only the fascinating QUARRY with its impressive extraction machinery, but also artistic works such as the MAXI MURAL (160sqm!) reproduction of the "CREATION OF ADAM" and even a cellar of the "EXTRAORDINARY", our sparkling wine in bottles covered with marble dust!
