About
Caffè del Cardinale was born in 2003 as an after-dinner bar. Taking inspiration from typical local food preparations it enlarged its offer to turn, few years later, into a restaurant bistro. Its menu proposals tell about the rural history of Giulianello and Italy, every dish is a reinterpretation of traditional old recipes that the chef Lucia Millone personalizes with unique and particular gastronomic combinations. The cuisine is based on the use of seasonal local ingredients and aromatic herbs. The food, as well as all the chef's preparations, are the result of a meticulous research of ingredients that tell the rural soul of Giulianello, full in history and old traditions, that characterize its unique identity. Starting from old local recipes and a selection of wine matched you can experience the history of Italy and its regional traditions through the flavors and the smells of its food and its wine.
