Cantina Petrelli is an winery nearby Carmiano, in the province of Lecce, that exclusively concentrates on the production of wine grape. By the mid ‘70s the company, that until then had produced tobacco, started producing grapes and wine. In a few years, the whole surface of land became a beautiful expanse of vines. This way, in 1984, Noè Paolo Petrelli turned his passion for agricolture into a company and set the stage for today’s Cantina Petrelli. The company is now heading towards the third generation of winemakers. Officially since 2020, Chiara Petrelli, Giovanni’s daughter, starts the third generation of the company, bringing innovation and freshness, without forgetting traditions. The grapes worked only come from the vineyards annex to the company, checked every day by the oenologist and owner Giovanni Petrelli. Both the pruning and the harvest are by hand, to ensure the best quality of the raw material.
