Nestled cozily within the seemingly endless olive groves of the splendid Salentinian countryside, the Afra Farmhouse is an oasis of tranquility. The farmhouse dates back to the 19th century and was originally the summer home of the local royalty including the Princess Marianna Filomarino. The structure has been completely rehabilitated in the traditional style of its original owners: high and vaulted ceilings, tiled floors made of the locally produced pietra leccese (Lecce limestone), and white sandstone walls typical of the region. The surrounding olive, pine and palm trees make for a relaxing garden area to enjoy a warm summer breeze on a lazy afternoon. The building structure is divided into three big separate quarters with kitchen, washing machine, TV and terrace ord garden.
