About
The Synagogue of Pisa, recently restored, it's located in a 14th century building converted into a place of worship in 1595. Its current architecture dates 1860, when it was renovated by Piedmontese architect Marco Treves. Outside it's integrated in the urban context, inside the cult room is on the upper floor, which is accessible by a large and elegant staircase. Every Thursday and Sunday, from 11am to 4pm, guided tours both in Italian and in English by reservation, possible departures every hour, duration of the visit 1 hour. The Synagogue, given the presence of an ancient staircase, is not accessible to people with disabilities. Reservations must be made by 2pm on Wednesday for Thursday's visits and by 2pm on Friday for Sunday's visits.
