Welcome! Our B&B, Il Grillo dalle Ali Turkesi, is the ideal place for a relaxing stay in the Alto Salento area of Puglia. We are centrally located between Ceglie Messapica and Villa Castelli -- an area renowned for its good food and fresh air -- and near many historic points of interest as well as the natural beauty of the Ionian and Adriatic Seas. Clean air, open spaces and an almost untouched nature provide a welcoming environment for both couples and families. Surrounded by the wild charm of typically Mediterranean vegetation and nestled in a forest of pines and oaks, the house is situated on a hill in the Itria Valley. The three hectare property overlooks groves of olive, almond and fruit trees. Against this bucolic backdrop, our donkeys, peacocks, guinea fowl, and chickens roam freely. We use organic methods to produce our own homemade olive oil, vinegar, olives, capers, bread, jams, seasonal produce and more. Our commitment to green living extends to the house itself, which is powered and heated by solar panels. We have two bedrooms available, each with air conditioning, a double bed and a single bed, as well as two bathrooms. The kitchen serves as both a cozy breakfast spot and a place to relax and socialize at any time of day
