Casa Julia
About
Casa Julia is a small reality in the hills of Grosseto, in Roccatederighi. It consists of a small country house and about two hectares of land, one and a half of which is olive grove with about 140 trees. The philosophy we try to pursue is not focused on productivity, on the liters of oil to take home every year but on its quality, to be obtained only thanks to healthy and luxuriant plants because they are inserted in a fertile soil rich in biodiversity. The olive trees are grown without the use of fertilizers, pesticides or heavy metals (such as copper) but using only natural products. The Casa Julia olives produce an EVO oil with a characteristic bitter and spicy scent, indicating a young oil rich in antioxidants There are three varieties present in the Casa Julia olive grove: Leccino, Moraiolo and Correggiolo. All three contribute in a different and precious way with their specificities to the final result.
