The farm of Peruzzo is the heart of the ancient Estate of Peruzzo which from the plain stretches though vineyards, olive groves, woods of cork oaks and Mediterranean scrub and between the castles of Montemassi, Roccatederighi and Sassofortino. It is 300 meters above sea level dominating the valley below, extending over an area of about 500 hectares of intact and uncontaminated natural beauty with the sight of the island of Giglio appearing in the distance. In Peruzzo you can enjoy a quiet holiday, lounge around the pool, read in the garden shaded by pergolas and plants, go for a walk or ride, either a bike or horse, along the charming pathways. Our guests stay in a part of the ancient farm surrounded by a huge garden, or in one of four recently renovated farm houses a little further uphill immersed in the shaded woods. The stone and terracotta tiled houses, built in the nineteenth century, retain the typical features of Tuscan farmhouses and the traditional furnishings of country home
