The 3*S Örtlerhof is located on the sunny slope of Tirolo near Merano. It is quietly situated amidst its own apple trees and yet centrally located. The village centre is only a 5-minute walk away. The panoramic position offers a fantastic view of the spa town and the surrounding mountains. The entailed estate (since 1766) is the ideal starting point for walks, hikes, bike tours and other excursions. The nature-oriented and sustainably run business is a small house (maximum 50 guests) with plenty of space, which impresses with its lovely decorations and warm care. The outdoor swimming pool and the beautiful sunbathing lawn invite guests to linger. The kitchen serves Mediterranean specialities and South Tyrolean dishes. Emphasis is placed on regionality and seasonality. Many products come from the hotel's own garden and farm. Guests can enjoy the home-grown wines with the 5-course evening menu. Children enjoy the playground with swing, sandpit and playhouse. Cot, highchair and more children's accessories are available. Backpacks and hiking poles, as well as bath towels can be borrowed free of charge. The bike deposit is lockable. In spring and autumn, guests receive the MeranCard with free use of all bus and train lines throughout South Tyrol as well as free admission to 80 South Tyrolean museums. For faster WLAN, the hotel has switched to fibre optics. All information regarding the hotel has been digitalised. This makes it possible to plan the holiday with the smartphone. In addition, the favourite newspaper can be downloaded free of charge.
