About
mask maker in Venice I'm Sofia and I'm the owner of Alberto Sarria Masks, a small workshop established in 1986 by my father in Venice, where I create handmade masks and marionettes using the traditional techniques. I was born in Venice, where I raised up surrounding by paper, paint, and brushes in my parents’ studio, developing my artistic techniques first as a game and then in art school. Six years ago I decided to carry on the work of my family, to give my contribution in saving the most authentic Venice.
