I Rusteghi is a historic Venetian “osteria” (tavern) that has belonged to the Venetian D’Este family since 1989. Today, Giovanni D'Este – a professional sommelier – continues the long family tradition with an eno-gastronomic offer aimed at discovering the excellences of the territory, as he personally selects suppliers and wineries. A small tavern with great wines; an island of peace within the chaos of the city. Here you can find a professional “Oste” (host), who can guide you and advise you in your choice of wine; a DOC Venetian with whom to talk about traditions, and a “buona forchetta” (good fork, as in good eater) that selects the menu’s raw ingredients every day.
