From 1980 period costumes were created by the Nicolao Atelier and were exported all over the world,not only "Made in Italy" but is the only one of its kind in Venice. On stages all over the world our original costumes have been admired in Opera Theatres, Straight Theatre, Ballet, Cinema and Television such La Fenice, La Scala, Montecarlo, Lyric Opera Chicago and Washington DC, the Japan Opera foundation in Tokio and many others. Over 10,000 sets of lingerie, head-dresses, cloaks, capes and accessories for important film production such as Farinelli, Elizabeth,The Merchant of Venice, Casanova and many others. Among the appreciated achievements is a Fancy Dress Costumes exhibited in the Metropolitan Museum of Art -Costume Institute of New York. In our Atelier we put together everything: our costume workshop, showroom and the whole collection of costumes creating an elegant display. Entering this magical space can be fantastic for anyone.
