San Marco 596 is a small workshop just a stone's throw from St. Mark's Square. In this hidden corner we create and design carnival masks in the traditional style of Venice. One of the few Venetian workshops that manages to combine tradition and innovation. In fact, the 2023 collection represents a step forward in the art of masks thanks to the use of elegant 3d friezes that are used to decorate special masks suitable for the most popular social events. In addition to handcrafted production, San Marco 596 is one of the most highly rated and reviewed workshops for “mask making.” Every day, Giorgio and Nicolò show techniques and secrets of mask art to curious visitors.
