Bosco Verticale, also known as the Vertical Forest, is a pair of pioneering residential skyscrapers located in Milan’s Porta Nuova district. Designed by Boeri Studio, the towers were completed in 2014 and feature an unprecedented façade covered with 730 trees, more than 5,000 shrubs, and a variety of perennials, creating a living canopy that blends architecture with nature. The design has earned international acclaim, winning the 2014 International Highrise Award and being celebrated as a benchmark for sustainable urban development.
