In 2013, the confectionary company that bears the name of Luigi Zaini, its founder as well as our grandfather, turned 100 years old. My sister Antonella and I decided to celebrate this centennial with something tangible, something that would last far longer than the duration of a celebratory event; we decided to create a physical space that could tell our story and exemplify our vision. In 1913 the first Zaini chocolate factory rose in Porta Nuova, the area that to this day would set the tone for our city’s skyline, and in that very same street we have opened our chocolate boutique, which we named Zaini Milano. Zaini Milano is place that possesses a very strong identity and has found in the cultural heritage of our entrepreneurial story an inexhaustible source of inspiration for products and packaging that express an original, contemporary creativity that draws from different worlds, starting from fashion’s visual cues that are often woven into our wrappings.
