Bayit is a boutique hotel set within a historic building dating back to between the 1500s and 1700s. It was once the home of a wealthy Jewish oil merchant family, whose ancestor, Gianfilippo Calò, was known as "Il Magnifico." The hotel preserves the charm and beauty of the past, while its name honors the building’s origins in the former Jewish quarter of Polignano a Mare. In Hebrew, "Bayit" means "home," reflecting the hotel’s essence—a place of warmth and elegance designed to offer unforgettable experiences and create lasting memories.
