THE COUNTRY – SEAT Masseria Parco d’Albero is an old country-seat situated in the undulating Murgia landscape and inserted in a SIC area (Community Interest Site), because of its flora and fauna characteristics.Masseria Parco d’Albero is the ideal place for people who want to spend their holiday in a peaceful and relaxing place, enjoing the sea, visiting the naturalistic and architectonic beauties of the surroundings, and tasting the renowned wines and foods of Apulia.Masseria Parco d’Albero includes a country- seat, built in 1936, and four 19th century trulli. The trulli have been recently arranged and furnished with taste and elegance. The bedrooms have been realized in the trulli cone, through a garret, easily reaching up by stairs, to offer an original accommodation.Masseria Parco d’Albero also includes 9.900 acres of wood, where oaks and ilexer grow.It is possible walking trough the wood, thanks to a path, delimitated by hedges of lavender, rosemary, sage and thyme.So, a walk becomes a full immersion in Apulia colours and smells, an experience that will relax your senses and your mind.Masseria Parco d’Albero is a peaceful place, where silence is interrupted only by twittering of robins, turtle-doves, nightingales, owls and screech-owls.Besides, Masseria Parco d’Albero will allow you to enjoy both the warm sun and Apulia seas (Adriatico and Ionio are situated at a distance of only 30 km) and the fresh and healthy air of Murgia hills, where sultriness is never present.THE TRULLIA trullo is an unusual rural stone construction, built following a highly original method. It is circular in shape, and made of dry stone with a cone-shaped roof. The origin of these constructions is uncertain. Probably the cone shape is of eastern inspiration and may have been adopted in Apulia to meet primitive building needs, as it is easy to construct.However, it is also possible that factors concerned with religion or magic may have led to its adoption. Our trulli have been recently arranged to form two large and comfortable flats: the Trullo dell’Aia and the Trullo del Cortile .Our trulli are furnished with care to guarantee a comfortable stay.THE “TRULLO DELL’AIA”This is a 70 square metres trullo and it is able to put up until to 6 people. It has got a kitchen, a bathroom, two bedrooms (one of them is realized on a garret), a living room provided with a divan bed. THE “TRULLO DEL CORTILE”This is a 65 square metres trullo and it is able to put up until to 6 people. It has got a kitchen, a bathroom, two bedrooms (one of them is realized on a garret), a living room provided with a divan bed and a fireplace.TRULLI CHARACTERISTCSOur trulli are provided with: warm water, shower, tv, phon, washing- machine (only in the Trullo dell’Aia), heating apparatuses, fireplace (only in the Trullo del Cortile), kitchen utensils, fridge, freezer, cafè-machine.Besides, the garden has got beach-umbrella, deck-chairs, tables, chairs, a barbecue and there are some bicycles to guest disposal.Our guests can also utilize the Ancient Aia Zone, to enjoy the warm sun and to get sunburnt in the morning, or to have a romantic dinner in the evening , at the sunset.In Masseria Parco d’Albero it is possible to park free of charge your car (the use of a car is recommended!!!)It is also possible to hire a car on-site.On request we guarantee transfer service (payment service).
