PININO is located in the north of Montalcino, embedded like a natural amphitheatre into the beautiful and famous hillside of Montosoli. This unique geographical location, which once attracted the wealthy of Montalcino, has become known as one of the best areas of the region for wine production. PININO produces PININO Brunello di Montalcino DOCG and Rosso di Montalcino DOC from Sangiovese grapes sourced exclusively from our vineyards situated in two locations in Montalcino. PINONE Brunello di Montalcino DOCG Riserva wines are produced only in exceptional vintages. Our latest addition is Vigna Pinino, our single-vineyard Brunello, produced only by the vines in the Montosoli hill. The cultivation, vinification, and aging all follow the strict guidelines of the “Consorzio del Brunello”.
