I Carrilli
About
The Carrilli are located in a hidden yet strategic position, isolated and central at the same time, along the route of the ancient Via Francigena, just a few steps from the medieval hamlet. It will take you five minutes to reach the centre of the village (Piazza Matteotti) through an enjoyable downhill walk. Once at home, you’ll be far from the noise and fully immersed in the midst of a large private estate with a beautiful sweeping lawn surrounded by centuries-old olive trees. All the rooms are wide open on an unmatchable horizon: the largest volcanic lake of Europe and its gentle green hills all around. In a corner, the towers of the unique Rocca Monaldeschi della Cervara, known as the Bolsena castle. Each room has its own kettle with cups and a selection of teas and infusions to further enjoy a peaceful rest on the private balcony in front of the lake. Hammocks, deck-chairs, chaise longue, sun beds on the grass contribute to your relish.
