The beach establishment, due to its geographical location, serves as a destination point for the Sorrento Peninsula and a crossroads for the Amalfi Coast. Hence the name Metamare — the “destination for the sea” — a welcoming tribute to visitors who, upon reaching Punta Scutolo (a mandatory passage for tourists coming from Naples), find themselves at the foot of an enchanting landscape. From there, they can glimpse the historic Marina di Meta and, within it, the Lido Metamare, easily recognizable by the vibrant colors of its umbrellas, fading from white to red through shades of orange — a metaphor for the beloved sun that has always kissed this gentle land.
