MetroArt is a pioneering public art project that transforms the underground of Naples into a sprawling contemporary art museum. Along Line 1 of the metro, more than 300 site‑specific installations by leading international artists are displayed both inside and outside the stations. The project complements cutting‑edge architecture—designed by renowned architects such as Álvaro Siza and Dominique Perrault—and turns everyday transit spaces into vibrant cultural venues.
