Bed and Breakfast "Antica Corte Lombarda" is located in a quiet residential area, five minutes walk from the city center and the railway station of Mortara (Pavia), a former Lombard Court, recently renovated and newly furnished. The B & B has a separate entrance, private parking, large balconies and private garden where, depending on the season, breakfast is served. It has 1 double room with private bathroom and shower (Room VIVALDI) with the possibility of adding a third bed, the VERDI'S Suite consists of a twin bed and an elegant loft in wood with sofa bed for max. 4 guests. The VERDI'S Suite has two private bathroom, the first with washbasin, toilet and bidet but no shower, and a second one with a bath tub. A strategic point on the Via Francigena from which you can reach by train or car Novara, Vercelli, Casale Monferrato, Alessandria and Pavia; forty minutes drive from Milan and half an hour from the International Exhibition Center of Rho-Pero. Possibility, on request, private transfer by payment from the Airports of Milan Malpensa and Milan Linate. Of particular historical and tourist interest the Basilica of S. Lorenzo, a jewel of Lombard Romanesque and, along the Via Francigena, the Abbey of S. Albino dating from the eighth century. Nearby places of great historical and architectural interest such as Vigevano with the Cathedral of St. Ambrose, the Visconti Castle and the adjacent Piazza Ducale, the numerous castles of Lomellina and Oltrepò and Monferrato. Easily accessible by car Lake Maggiore, Lake Orta, Lake Viverone, and the main ski resorts of the Monterosa Ski complex.
