About
Villa Breda is a pictoresque Villa in Ponte di Brenta, Padova. The Villa was built by the Venetian family Contarini in the middle of the 17th century. After the decadence of the Serenissima, the Villa has been abandoned for a long time. Between 1859 and 1865 the Senatore Vincenzo Stefano Breda chose it as his privileged mansion and commissioned to the architect Antonio Caregaro Negrin the restoration of the Villa. Nowadays the Villa is a Museum and is managed by the Association Vivi-amo Villa Breda, who organizes concerts, art exhibitions, aperitifs and events to make the whole community part of this magnifique inheritance.
