About
Villa dei Vescovi is a stunning Renaissance‑style rural palace in Luvigliano, Italy, built between 1535 and 1542 as a summer retreat for the archbishops of Padua. Designed by Giovanni Maria Falconetto, the villa boasts a striking façade, a frescoed portico, and a grand courtyard with an open loggia overlooking the valley. Its formal gardens, gates, and richly decorated rooms—once adorned by artists such as Lambert Sustris—create a picturesque setting that is now open to visitors and guests under the stewardship of the Fondo Ambiente Italiano.
