About

Y‑40 The Deep Joy is the world’s deepest swimming pool, plunging 42.15 metres (138 ft) into a crystal‑clear thermal spring that heats to 32‑34 °C. Designed by architect Emanuele Boaretto, the pool boasts underwater caves, a suspended transparent tunnel that lets guests walk beneath the surface, and a series of depth platforms ranging from 1.3 m to 12 m – a unique playground for freedivers, scuba divers and adventure seekers alike. The heated, mineral‑rich water draws from 87 °C underground springs, offering a warm and soothing experience throughout the year. While the pool is free to enter, specialized dive courses and tours are offered on a ticket‑basis, making Y‑40 a cutting‑edge destination for both casual visitors and serious divers.
