Birrificio del Ducato - The Italian art of beer Our beers are made of passion and knowledge, culture and innovation, memories and visions of endless, real and futuristic worlds. Founded in 2007 by Giovanni Campari and Manuel Piccoli in Roncole Verdi, a small town in the Province of Parma, where the famous composer Giuseppe Verdi was born, Birrificio del Ducato is indeed the most awarded Italian brewery, even in international competitions. In the last 10 years Birrificio del Ducato won more than 100 awards. Birrificio del Ducato counts two breweries. The first brewery is in Roncole Verdi, where production started in 2007, now seat of the Sour Brewery. The second brewery, built in 2015, is in Soragna. It’s composed by the office building and a fully automatic production brewhouse with a cellar capacity of 1210 hl . The Sour Brewery has a cellar capacity of 1100 hl and counts 120 barrique and 8 big barrels with a capacity of 44, 54 and 80 hl.
