Cantina Conte Vistarino
About
The Conte Vistarino Estate covers an area of 826 hectares, about 620 of which are divided between woods, meadows, seedlings, arboreal plants from precious wood while 102 hectares are destined to vineyards. The most cultivated variety is Pinot Noir, which occupies about 65 hectares. At the center of the estate is the eighteenth-century Villa Fornace, still the home of the counts, surrounded by the park with the orangery building. The winery stands between the Scuropasso stream and Villa Fornace. The heart of the project was to enhance the ancient farm structure, dating back to 1904 and clearly French, to make it a new beating heart, not only of the company but of the entire rural town. The new structure is spread over four levels for 3,300 square meters with spaces for winemaking, maturation, sparkling winemaking and aging rooms, tasting rooms and a space dedicated to historic bottles, the infernotto. Open every day for visits and tastings, upon reservation.
