Once it was an old farmers house characterized by the presence of many oak trees , which is the reason of the name today " Querciaia " . The structure is made from ' old house , divided into 9 apartments and two independent houses , " The Robin " and " Squirrel " , painted in red cantoniere , because of the color of the two small animals : the red-breasted bird and reflections of reddish hair squirrel . Their presence is also characteristic of the Umbrian landscape surrounding . From the Spring of 2015 the business was taken over by two partners , Daniela and Fabiola , who for years had been planning to start a business work together and to lead an "open air" life, surrounded by the Umbrian countryside .
