Cantico delle Creature B&B is a rustic eighteen-century farmhouse in the heart of Umbrian countryside. Situated next to the wall of the Sanctuary of San Damiano, the B&B is nestled in the green countryside of Assisi, rich in natural vegetation and cultivated fields. It is surrounded by olive trees, oaks, walnuts and fruit trees of all kind, and a little vegetable garden is entirely cultivated by us. The main building is a typical house of the Umbrian rural tradition and it was rebuilt in the 60s by our family basing on the ruins of the 18th century and keeping the style of that period. Three are the rooms available at the moment; two large rooms with antique and vintage furnitures with original pieces of Umbrian tradition, both served by a single large shared bathroom. The third one is a comfortable small room, still decorated with a traditional furnish and a private bathroom. Within the end of the year we will finish to rebuild the other structure, completely new, where there will be three other bedrooms all served by private bathrooms. The specific location of the B & B offers a lot of activities to do. Walking through the countryside, or visiting Assisi city centre, easily reachable on foot. The close proximity to the Sanctuary of San Damiano (it is only 50 meters to go through a staircase) offers guests the chance to live a mystical and peaceful experience. For those who wish, we could provide bicycles for trips to Mount Subasio Regional Park or to the many medieval villages nearby. On request we could also organize days of trekking in the Monte Subasio Park. In the period of the gathering and pressing olives (October, November), we could also organize guided tours to a typical oil mill with the possibility of extra-virgin olive oil tasting. The B & B is located in a peaceful but not isolated place, where you can reach the E45 motorway, that is just 2 km far away and the railway station (3 km), the international airport (8 km), Spello (6 ??Km) Foligno (15 Km), Perugia (20 Km).
