Eurochocolate Festival is the largest and most assorted international Chocolate Exhibition in Europe. It is an annual festival and it takes place indoors each October at Umbriafiere (Bastia Umbra, 15 km from Perugia), the capital of the Umbria region (central Italy) The festival has been held since 1994 and has become now an unmissable appointment for all chocolate lovers. It lasts ten days and it offers more than 6,000 chocolate products presented by over 100 brands belonging to the top artisans or to the most important Italian and international confectionery companies. Eurochocolate offers a variety of free chocolate activities too, such as chocolate sculpting, tastings and cooking show. Eurochocolate has also a second appointment held in March at Perugia's Giardini del Frontone. It’s called Eurochocolate Spring and it is related to Easter and its delicacies, such as chocolate eggs.
