La Folaga del Trasimeno is an extra-hotel facility located on the shores of Lake Trasimeno, in the province of Perugia, these are two-room and three-room apartments which before being converted for the exclusive use of holidays for guests was an old farmhouse of a small fishing village nestled between lake and nature. The property, when it decided to convert all of this into a tourist reality, gave each apartment a characteristic name linked to fishing. In fact, "La Folaga" stands in a strip of land that creeps onto the lake, in one of the most famous corners of the Trasimeno which was once called "La Frusta" for its narrow and curved shape, between the inhabitants of Montebuono and Sant ' Arcangelo, in the municipality of Magione. "La Folaga" is located along the road from Magione to Chiusi, 10 minutes from the first and half an hour from the second. In the immediate vicinity are the town of Sant’Arcangelo, a small town where you can find the SuperMarket, the post office, the bank, the pharmacy, and many other points of interest such as Bars and Restaurants. So at your fingertips you will find what you need! Perugia can be reached in half an hour, and the most famous Umbrian and Tuscan towns in an hour: Gubbio, Orvieto, Assisi, Todi, Marmore Falls, Siena, the beautiful Val d'Orcia.
