Borgocapo

Borgocapo is located in the town of Casalincontrada in the hills characterized by the presence of gullies that is at the foot of the Maiella National Park. The structure adapted to accommodation house is one of the 800 cob houses surveyed by the Abruzzo region, made with the traditional technique of "massone" or cob, consisting in the overlapping of small loaves of moist earth and straw. Borgocapo is also a laboratory of earth building techniques.
