Well-positioned on the top of a hill of Pisan's mountains, the farmhouse La Grotta is the ideal place where relax in a direct contact with nature in a classical Tuscan environment. The farmhouse is inside an 18 hectare property where are grown olive tree and vineyards; it produces high quality extra virgin olive oil and red and white Chianti wine. The ideal place to stay and relax, or from where to start the exploration of historical places like Lucca, Pisa, Florence, the Versilia, the Apuane mountains, Cinque Terre etc. Our farmhouse is only 2,5 km from the thermal baths in San Giuliano. Dogs and other small animals are welcome. Characteristic of the management is a happy homely welcome that you'll never forget. In the months of September, October and November it's possible to attend to the grape and olive harvest and live a really unique experience. Not far from Pisa's international airport (20 min.), from the center of Pisa (15 min.) and of Lucca (20 min.), from the seaside of Marina di Vecchiano (20 min.); sight on the landscape of Pisa until the sea, from Livorno to La Spezia and part of the Tuscan archipelago, Apuane mountains and Corsica. Florence is just one hour away. Because of its strategic position it's not far from Cinque Terre, Versilia, Lerici and Porto Venere. The farmhouse has three double rooms, each one with private bathroom. Breakfast service in the morning is included in the price. In the living room a wireless internet connection is available for guests; an added bed for children under 12 years of age has no extra cost.
