B&B Il Duomo lies in the most elegant part of Lucca, in a very central position and within a short distance from the main points of interest of the town.Thanks to the strategic location Il Duomo offers a unique view on Piazza S. Martino with the beautiful facade of the cathedral and the tower, and Piazza S. Giovanni with the church of the same name, which is famous, among other things, for the important concerts of composer Giacomo Puccini (born in Lucca) which take place all the evenings during summer season. Our B&B is also a good stop for whom who wish to visit, by bike or just walking, the wonderful medieval town Lucca, very rich in monument, churches, palaces, museums and cultural events.Furthermore, considering its very central position (only some meters away from the main train station), Il Duomo is also an ideal starting point to visit the surroundings of Lucca and the other art towns in Tuscany.
