About

The building that houses the hotel is the work of the engineer Alfredo Belluomini and decorated by the artist Galileo Chini, an Art Nouveau building dating back to the early '900. It located near the seafront of Viareggio, in a few steps you can reach the beach and pine forest. The 'friendly family has always allowed us to offer a stay of wellness and tranquility. As mentioned, the building that houses our hotel was born from a project Belluomini. Italian architect and engineer born in Viareggio, he graduated in civil engineering from the Polytechnic of Milan in 1918, then obtained a degree in architecture at the Brera Academy. After the fire of 1917 is one of the main architects of the reconstruction of the promenade of Viareggio, along with Ugo Giusti and Galileo Chini. Chini, painter, graphic artist, architect, designer, ceramist Italian, is one of the protagonists of Italian Liberty style. Hotel Paolina is just one example of the Viareggio "Liberty" faded in the two fires before and after the First World War and revived the union of the two artists as "Pearl of the Tyrrhenian".
