Not to forget the whole area of Torre del Lago Puccini, known for hosting the house of the famous composer Giacomo Puccini. A short distance from the composer’s villa is the Gran Teatro, where his operas and other concerts are performed. Every year, in the summer, in honor of Puccini, there is an opera festival, the Puccini Festival, in which are represented, in an open-air theater overlooking the lake of Massaciuccoli, some works by the composer for some time permanently present in the opera repertoire.
