The "Officina delle Erbe" is set in the heart of the historic city center close to the famous Amphitheater Square which was supposed to be in ancient times a deposit of salt or powder. Today it is a place for shops, concerts, exhibitions, festivals and other events.People arriving from the main street Via Fillungo can stop near the small Bottega and admire the remains of the original walls of the Roman Amphiteatre. The little window looking at the Amphitheater is very characteristic for its details and people use to take a photo of it during the tour. Built in the ancient Amphitheater's walls, the small Bottega shows stone archs and wooden beams, a beautiful synthesis of ancient Tuscan style. Today it is a destination for many tourists and people from Lucca who like wellness products all strictly organic 100% made in Italy.
