About
The Torre delle Ore, also known as Torre dell'Orologio, is an iconic 14th‑century clock tower perched on Via Fillungo in central Lucca, Tuscany. Originally a medieval protective tower, it was converted into a public timepiece in 1390, with the current clock mechanism added in the 18th century. Visitors can climb to the top for panoramic views of the city and to observe the historic clock. The tower is a prominent feature of Lucca’s skyline, standing proudly beside the famous Torre Guinigi.
