Ara is an antique massaria (farm), completely restored using traditional Sicilian materials and enhancing the original beauty of the stone structure, you can enjoy the authentic countryside of Modica and even push the look as far as the wonderful Mediterranean Sea; you can also relax reading a book in the shadow of almond and carob trees and surrounded by the smell of blossoms, and have fun playing bowls in the garden or playing with the games available inside the relax room. Beautiful walks along the paths in the surrounding countryside will make you feel completely restored in body and mind, and kids will surely have great fun with our games, our playground and our little zoo, for a dream holiday in nature. By visiting Ara you will plunge into a renewed but genuine “sicilianity”, which is the spirit that permeates our rooms and that you can experience especially in the relax room.
