Vinciucci is an antique villa from the 1700’s built on the remains of a sighting tower used to spot saracenic invasions. It overlooks the carob tree fields and the sea, visible on the horizon. From the terrace you can also see the plateau which connects Modica and Ispica, in the Ragusa province. It is a little oasis, ideal to stop and discover the south in every season; it is very near to several archaeological,architectural and natural areas of great interest, such as the “Cava d'Ispica” or the baroque cities of the “Val di Noto". The large and bright rooms are cosy and characteristic, plus they all contain air-conditioners or ceiling fans. I'll offer you a very good breakfast with local organic and fair trade products.
