"Il Castagneto" was born from our passion for cooking and our love for country life. Our speciality is to cook the products of our own soil, that we raise in a completely natural fashion without any pesticide or chemical fertiliser. We go by the seasons, we add our creativity: our cooking is both healthy and enticing, light and imaginative... but you can't just describe it, you have to enjoy it! What characterises us is the idea that our country is not only to be tasted - but lived, known and rediscovered. That's why we hold coooking classes, intimate concerts or small theater plays. A peaceful countryside oasis, in the wonderful yet little known Petronio valley, just 6Km away from the beaches of Sestri Levante: a small family-run farmhouse, in which you can enjoy tasty recipes from the Ligurian and Italian tradition.
