About

MuCast is the oldest copper mine in Western Europe and consists of an interactive and multimedia museum, an underground experience in the mining tunnel, a prehistoric site excavated from the Copper Age (about 5,000 years ago). The Museum could be visited with strollers and people in wheelchairs. The mine could be reached by a short walk on a dirt road and down to a small flight of stairs. The helmets for access to the mine are provided on site. The mine could be visited only with a guided tour.
