The new management of the renewed Domus Victoria Guesthouse started in October 2013, inheriting a tradition of courtesy and friendly hospitality from the previous administration. The host is now Giorgia, a girl in love with her town, who runs the place with a big smile and accuracy of details; the help of her family and her Mom's biscuits help creating a homely atmosphere. Then there's Sandra: a pillar of the Guesthouse, with her kind willingness to help and give advice to our guests. An equipped kitchen where Italian sweet breakfast is served in the morning and a small, cosy balcony (for smokers) are the common spaces of the Guesthouse. Free tea and coffee are available at any time together with fresh fruit of the season. A wi-fi free connection is at disposal for guests h24. Our staff is always willing to suggest activities in town that can match your interests. The notice board at the entrance is up to the date with current expositions, events and concerts. Domus Victoria welcomes its guests in five private rooms with bathroom and all comforts. Pieces of art are hanging from the walls matching a simple and warm furnishing. All rooms are luminous and, although the nearness to the lively Piazza Vittorio, the insulating windows ensure a quiet sleep. Private fridge, water boiler, t.v., hairdryer and ceiling fan are provided in every room. A free service for our guests: a mobile phone with rechargeable Italian number is available on demand. The neighborhood has recently been elected by writers, directors and actors as the pilgrimage destination that fulfills their need for inspiration. Despite its chaotic appearance Piazza Vittorio is the place where changes are happening in Rome, where a modern multi-ethnical society is rising and the future of this town is constantly within your sight, still surrounded by the ancient, unchangeable vestiges of our glorious history. Domus Victoria is your home in the heart of the real Rome. The neighborhood Esquilino is one of the most colorful and exciting places in town: the gardens with their Magic Door, the market, the food... Built on a hill between the Central Station and Colosseo, it is placed in a tactical position from where everything is within walking distance: the fancy Rione Monti, the crowded University district, the hipster quarter Pigneto as well as the monumental ancient Rome and the main Churches. Vatican is easily reachable by underground in about 15 minutes. Termini Train Station can be reached on foot in 10 minutes.
